oh my, your photography is LOVELY!
about blogger cutting off a portion of your photo ... you can go into your blog's specific html (get to it from your dashboard) and find the data regarding column width size and increase your [something like] "main body" width to 550ish pixels.
if that fails, maybe consider using a different blogger template. Drew (from I Heart Faces) has an awesome tutorial on her blog:
